Aunt Chriss, Margie, Joey and Lee, hope that things are going well for you. I'm sorry I could not come to the get-to-gether after the funeral. I was not feeling well and my kidneys were shutting down so I had to get home and take care of myself. I wish Michael and I could have been there to share the old pictures with all of you. I remember them and laughed when My daughter told me all about the pictures. Please keep Margaret and Michael in touch with you. They didn't get to enjoy my family in their younger life, but, I hope you stay in contact with them. You are all the family they have left and they hardly know you. My fault. Just know that I am missing all of you and I love all of you dearly. Uncle Joe did great with his family. He never spoke an unkind word about anyone. I'll always remember that about him. He was a very kind and loving man with a tender heart. I think he took after his Mother.
Aunt Chriss I want to say to you while you are still with us that you were the same as Uncle Joe, kind and loving and I never heard you say an unkind word to or about anyone. I understand a lot of things now that I am older and know that you did a very good job raising your family. You loved my Uncle Joe and raised a wonderful little family. You did good too. I have good memories of you and your little family and it makes me smile. Ican remember when they were all born and little bitty ones. Love You, Barbara

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Margaret and Joe,
Sorry to hear about your father. At least it sounds like Margaret had a chance to spend more time with him after he moved to Texas. We wonder from time to time where you live and how things are going for you. Hope all is well.
