Joseph Blaine Ruffin III

Beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and uncle, Joseph "JB" Blaine Ruffin, III entered eternal rest on January 17, 2022, at the age of 58. Devoted husband of Cristle Brown, Father of Antonio Thomas and D'Anjunae Ruffin. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ruffin, Jr. (Gloria Mae). Brother of Lernita R. Darensburg (Tannard), Darren Ruffin, and Kenya Lee. Step-father of Latoya Brown, Emanuel Lee, and Donnell Brown. Grandfather of 5. Preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Iona Ruffin, and Curtis and Mary Lewis, God-parents, Keith and Audrey Hoffman, and step-daughter Ariel Brown. He also leaves to mourn his passing, a host of aunts, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family; and co-workers; also pastors, officers and members of Morning Star B.C., St. Stephens B.C, and Life Central Cathedral, Employees of Ossa, Longneck Rigging, and Travelers Insurance, are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephens Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70114, Reverend Edward Dorsey, officiating. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Interment in Christian Social. Due to Covid-19, all attendees are required to wear a face mask.
