Mr. Joe & Ms. Gloria have been my nabors for 27years & JV has been my friend and confident throughout my time in Gentilly, daily he & I would meet on the sidewalk halfway between our homes and have our "coming to Jesus meetings" He was a blessing to me in so many ways! Another soldier gone home, another true friend who will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Gloria, thank you for keeping me informed during this time; I kept Joe, you and the family lifted in prayer. I will never forget when I first met you, and you are truly a beautiful person, in and out. Joe is in a better place, a place we want to go one day.

You are Faithful and though you will miss him, you know you will see your husband again. I pray you feel God's comfort as He wraps his arms around you and your family. Joe is absent from the body, but present with our Lord.
