We will miss you but at least now the pain is gone. I am sure you are up there telling everyone how much we miss them.
Please watch over Brandon for me until I get there.
We love you.

Joyce, though we'd not had contact in several years, I thought of you often. You were and always will be my "cuz." And not only because we are blood kin, but because you were always so thoughtful and generous - sharing when I would come spend summers with you. You not only were generous enough to share your bedroom, clothes and friends, but you shared your k.p. duty, household chores, ironing and blame for any trouble "you" got into -late curfews, whatever. You were there to share. I remember the many nights we sat up well past "lights out" to play gin rummy, the Christmas formal in Aiken, sneaking out to meet our boy friends, our trip up the river on the President, (the rum and coke we were both too young to drink). And I would not trade a minute of those times. Those wonderful times are a great part of my childhood memories. Rest peacefully, my dear cousin; rest peacefully. You are missed.

Time here is short. We don't really know what the morning may bring. Our time of knowing each other was not long enough. We had many things to talk about, but nothing was never said. I want you to know that, there will always be a place in my heart for you. You were and still are my mother-I love you, your son-Mike Chivleatto
Rest in peace Mom.
