To Christi and Family,
I wish there was enough room on this page to share the many memories that I shared with your mother. Luckily, your mom and I always had one thing in common, GREAT PARENTS. We had the best set of parents that any two girls could ever ask for in life. Our fathers were selfless and loved Dixie Beer. Our mothers were accomplished home makers and adored the ground that our fathers walked on. It made life very good for me and your mom. We thrived as the Chaix princesses in the Louisiana territories known as Buck and Blackie for a very long time. The other part of the equation that gave your mom and I extra advantages was the greatest Grandmother in the world. We knew her as Cha Cha, other knew her as Lucille.. Our homes were shared on a daily basis and we spent holidays together without fail. Your mom and I shared a wonderful family existence and we believed in the meaning and value of family. Unfortunately, life changes and there comes a time when life is not the way we once knew it. This holiday your mom will be spending it elsewhere. I feel lucky to still have my dear Aunt and I am so glad your mom will get to spend it in our families future home located high in the heavens. This holiday she will be surrounded with family love and eternal love for eternity.

Dear Family,
The loss of a mother is a deep and difficult challenge at any time in one's life, but during the Holiday Season it is especially difficult. I know your mother hopes that each of you will focus on the good times that were had between you and her throughout her lifetime. She would also wish that each of you will experience feelings of joy, happiness and peace throughout your lives. I would also think that her last and final wish would be that everyone watches over Aunt Gloria and makes sure the care that she receives is loving, genuine and gentle. My memories of your mother will remain forever bright!! Remember, just because we cannot bring our loved ones back, they can live in our memories. Please be strong and keep Christ in your heart and Christmas.
Sincerely, Nancy Chaix
