Julius Landry Obituary

Julius ""Will'' Landry, age 90 years, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the St. Francis Specialty Hospital in Monroe, LA. Mr. Landry is the beloved husband of the late Laura Lynch Landry. Father of Michael A. Landry and wife, Eva Marie Landry of Slidell, LA and John P. Landry of Kenner, LA. Son of the late Lena Ayo Landry and Edward S. Landry. Brother of Lorraine Landry Friedlander, the late Edward L. Landry, Mae Ruth Landry Baker, Mildred Landry Payelle, Marjorie Landry Rouyer and Francis ""Frank'' Landry. Also survived by his two grandchildren, Gina Marie Landry and Scott Michael Landry. A native of Crowley, LA. Mr. Landry was a retired educator with the St. Bernard Parish Public School System. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas and went on to receive his Master of Science in Library Science degree from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding and Son Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA on Friday, November 4, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Roch Cemetery No. 2, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin on Friday morning from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

Mike, Marie, Johnny and Kids,



I was saddened to see news of your dad's death. He was a good man who lived a good life. It was conforting to have him still living in the neighborhood when I moved back. I know Tana and the kids feel the same way. I will miss talking to him.
