Karen Hogan Brock

1961 - 2023

Karen Hogan Brock was born on February 21, 1961, and transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. She was 62 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Joseph Brock, her mother, Gloria T. Hogan, her father Moses Hogan, her brother Moses George Hogan, a niece Brittany Stroughter, and nephew Benjamin Hogan. Karen was educated in New Orleans Public Schools System and was a graduate of Alcee Fortier Senior High School, Class of 1980, Cameron Business College and attended Southern University at New Orleans. Karen and her late husband were the founders and pastors of Praise Healing and Deliverance Ministry in New Orleans. Her sweet and kind presence will forever be remembered. Karen leaves to cherish her loving memory, her daughter, Sheree Lynn Hogan (TX), her brother, Jeffery Hogan (TX), her sisters Dr. Ava Hogan-Chapman (Marlon) (Ga.), Wilhelmina Wanda Hogan Stroughter, (Adrian), Almontine H. Smith (Bobby) and eleven stepchildren of Joseph Brock. She was a devoted auntie to her niece and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Service Friday, December 29, 2023, for 10:00 a.m. at New Zion B.C., 2319 Third Street, New Orleans, LA 70113.
