I remember when Karen first came to the nursing home....throughout the years we developed an understanding about her cigarettes. The memories of our "debates" make me smile. She is truly, truly missed. Sending thoughts and prayers to the Farve family

Karen was very loved & cared for at Shady Lake. The loss of her effected the hearts of many and we continue to mourn today. Karen had her own way of touching your heart in one way or another. RIP

From the day that I met Karen (when she moved to Lake Providence) she REMAINED one of the "realest" people that I know. She stood firm on "her" beliefs. No one was a stranger to her. Being shy is definitely NOT a characteristic of her. The love of her Catholic religion and her family is immeasurable...she spoke of both daily. I am grateful to God for allowing Karen to come and have such great impact on our community. After I stopped working at Shady Lake, I was often told that Karen said that she missed me. Now, who is really missing who....

She will be missed. Karen will always have a special place in my heart. I am a better person for knowing her. I prayers are with you. She always said she didn't want to be in the hospital and didn't want to suffer. I am so very thankful that God's beautiful grace prevailed. Ms Myra may you and your family know comfort.

I miss her like crazy!! From the first day I started at SLNH she has been my favorite. I enjoyed all our chats(they were daily) and hearing all her life stories. She will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. Know that your daughter, sister and aunt was LOVED unconditionally while she lived here at SLNH! She will TRUELY BE MISSED BY US ALL!!

I sure do miss Karen sooooo much!!! She was my BEST friend when I worked at the nursing home! She would meet me at the front door every morning for her cup of coffee and we would have coffee together before I even started working!!!!!!! She has a special place in my heart and I will ALWAYS love her!!!!!!!!!!
