Karl G. Davis

DAVIS Karl G. Davis entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the age of 58, after a lengthy illness. Karl was born in New Orleans, LA on March 31, 1952. He was a graduate of John McDonogh Sr. High School and attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. Son of the late James and Doris Chase Davis. Grandson of the late Edgar L. Sr. and Emily Tennette Chase. Devoted nephew of Edgar L. Jr. and Leah Lange Chase. Cousin of Margie White Sears, Stella Chase Reese, Edgar L. Chase III, Leah Chase-Kamata, Verda Grey, David Davis, Valerie Tennette Johnson, and Delores Brazile. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Employees of Dooky Chase's Restaurant, Health Care Professionals, neighbors, relatives, and friends of family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Monday, August 9, 2010 at St. Peter Claver Church, 1923 St. Phillip Street at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Louis Cemetery # 2.
