Kason Odell Brizele, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Ochsner Baptist Hospital in New Orleans LA. He developed complications from COVID-19 and passed away after suffering cardiac arrest. He was 44 years old. Kason was born on September 7, 1976, in Monroe LA to Ronald Odell Brizele and Carol Elaine Brizele. He was baptized at St. Paul Baptist Church in Marion, LA. He graduated from Marion High School in 1994 and then joined the United States Navy where he served his country for 10 years. After being stationed in New Orleans he decided to make the city his home which is where he met his wife, Andrea Wayne. They were married on June 25, 2004, and have three children and one grandchild. Kason was employed with the VA Medical Center in New Orleans as the Administrator on Duty (AOD). Kason is survived by his wife Andrea Wayne Brizele, children; Jordan Taylor and Alana, granddaughter Londyn, mother; Carol Elaine Brizele, siblings; Orlando Brizele, Sherrie Albertie, Cheree Perkins and Latoya Brizele, aunt Vernestine Doaty and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Brizele and grandparents Willie and Helen Henderson. Kason will be laid to rest on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery located at 34888 Grantham College Dr., Slidell, LA 70460 at 11A.M. Due to COVID-19, everyone in attendance must wear a facemask or other proper facial covering and practice social distancing.
