Kathleen Cupit "Kathy" Bauer

Kathleen "Kathy" Cupit Bauer passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in Slidell, Louisiana, at the age of 63. She was born on Tuesday, November 22, 1960, in New Orleans, Louisiana, was raised in Arabi, and resided in Chalmette with her family, prior to moving to her daughter's residence in Slidell during her illness. Kathy is survived by her daughters, Kellie Bischof and Laurie Bauer; granddaughters, Emma Claire (Noah), Adeline Grace and Genevieve Ruth Bischof; great grandson, Hudson; siblings, Donald W. Cupit, Jr., Sandra Cupit Cuccia (Mike), and Sharon Cupit Guidry; nieces and nephews, Jill Cuccia Helm, Michael Cuccia, Anthony Cuccia, and Kristin Cupit; and brother-in-law, Albert Bauer, Jr. (Lisa). Also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, and family members. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Daniel (Danny) Gary Bauer; parents, Ann Sugar Cupit and Donald William Cupit, Sr; brothers-in-law, Thomas and Donald Bauer; nephew, Jeff Cuccia; and her beloved Yorkie, Jay. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Boulevard West, Slidell, LA 70460 on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 am.
