Kathryn Ann Craft Moses

MOSES Kathryn Ann Craft Moses, 80, of Friendswood, Texas passed away August 26, 2007. Born October 8, 1926, she was the second of two daughters born to Roy W. and Edna Elam Craft in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Kathryn graduated from the Salem Academy of Winston Salem in 1943 and from Virginia Intermont College in 1946. Kathryn is survived by her sister, Ruth Craft Myers of Boca Raton, Florida. Kathryn Ann Craft married Kent P. Upchurch, M.D., in 1947. They settled in Pasadena, Texas where Dr. Upchurch established a medical practice. Together they had three children, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who survive them both: Greg Lewis Upchurch, his wife Donna Lyn and their son Ryan Lee Upchurch of Friendswood, Texas; Neal Craft Upchurch of Bolivar, Tennessee and his sons Samuel Lewis Upchurch of Houston, Texas and Justin William Upchurch, his wife Cheryl and their daughter Caitlin Laine Upchurch of Pearland,Texas; and their daughter Susan Kent Upchurch Ibanez of Victoria, Texas, her husband Joe David Ibanez, M.D. and their daughter Kathleen Ibanez Stephens and her son Nicholas Tate Stephens of Houston, Texas; and their son Kent E. Ibanez, M.D. of Austin, Texas, his wife Catherine Elyssa and their four children, Lilyana Faye Ibanez, Cole Joseph Ibanez, Tessa Noelle Ibanez, and Rowen Albert Ibanez. In February, 1965, Kathryn married William Charles Moses of Harvard, Illinois. During the years that followed, Mr. Moses established Erect-A-Tube, Inc. and the couple subsequently moved to Beau Chene, Louisiana finally retiring in Houston, Texas. Bill Moses passed away at the age of 86 in May 2002. Visitation with the family will be held 1 P.M. on Friday, August 31, 2007 at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N.
