Kenneth Ostler Obituary
(Retired Durham Regional Police Officer)
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, August 11th, 2017 with his family by his side at 82 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Anne. Loving father of Chris (Susan), Ken (Joanne) and Laurie. Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Darrell), Jason, Colin, Greg, Liam and Olivia and great grandfather of Deanna and Desmond. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. In his day Ken was actively involved in MacKenzie, Park the 37th Oshawa Cub Pack, the Oshawa Travel Trailer Club, and was a motorcycle, snowmobile and outdoor enthusiast. His family will miss the fun times at the "Shack." Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, August 15th, from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GERTRUDE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, (690 King Street East) on Wednesday, August 16th, 10:00a.m. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund or Salvation Army would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at www.oshawafuneralhome.com.

Ostler families ... we returned from holidays and heard of Ken's passing.
