My life is better because I spent time with Ken!!

Dear Karen and Family,
Paula and I express our deepest sympathy for your loss. I had the
pleasure and privilege of knowing and working with Ken for 30 years.
Ken's counsel was invaluable, but more important were his friendship
and sense of humor. Ken showed us the finest example of courage,
perseverance, and spirit. For that we thank him. We will miss him.

Ken:

Your courage and optimism during the past four years have been an example for all of us to follow and admire. I am sorry I was not present at the funeral, but I and several new friends, did hoist a wee pint in your honor in southern Ireland. As in life, I am sure you are preparing a place of opportunity for the rest of us in the kingdom of heaven.

I worked for Ken for 2 years. He was one of the finest people I've met, the best boss and one of the best landmen I've met. I am glad I had an opportunity to know him and am really saddened at the news of his death. I would have been at the services for him, but I was out of town.

Ken always treated everyone with respect and kindness. It was a pleasure working with him and the times spent hunting and fishing together are wonderful memories I hold dearly. The Daigle family will miss him.

The family of the late Reid Renken send their deepest sympathy to the Savage's for their loss. Our father was a fellow landman with Mr. Savage...mom says they met at Coastal and remained great friends for 30+ years. We always heard wonderful things about him! Ken always impressed me as the epitome of a true Texan... honest as the day is long, confident in his knowledge and experience, and strong of will and spirit. The world is now less.

It was a privilege to have had the opportunity to know and work with Ken. I have been in this industry for 30 years and never heard a negative thing said about Ken and never heard Ken say a negative word about a fellow-landman. He was one of those individuals we will always remember as setting the standard for us to attempt to attain. After purchasing a home in Beeville in 2005 it was also a blessing to have met and attended mid-week Bible classes with Ken's lovely wife at the Methodist Church (they were kind enough to allow an Episcopalian to attend). My sincerest condolences to Ken's famiy and his many friends. Leigh White

I met Ken early in my career as a Landman in the late 1970's. His knowledge and work product was superb and a big bonus was his sunny personality. He will be missed by his friends.
