Kevin Claude Barrios

1970 - 2023

Kevin Claude Barrios, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2023, at the age of 52. He was born on September 16, 1970, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to his loving parents, William J. Barrios and Joycelyn B. Barrios. In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his twin brother, Keith H. Barrios (Nicole); his younger brothers, Chad W. Barrios (Jessica) and Zachary Barrios (Michelle); niece, Harleigh Barrios; nephews, Collin, Cameron, and Kaden Barrios; and a host of extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Barrios Jr.; maternal grandparents, Florine Ohler Bertin and Claude Bertin; and paternal grandparents, Yvonne L'Esperance Barrios and Harold Barrios. Kevin attended Redeemer High School and graduated with the Class of 1988. After high school, Kevin ventured into entrepreneurship and found his passion in the lawn care business. He became the owner of Coastal Cuts Lawn Care, where Kevin provided excellent service to his community for many years. When not working, Kevin enjoyed playing darts and was a member of the Slidell Dart Association. In life, Kevin was kind, generous, and loving. His generosity extended beyond his death though donation to the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA). Although Kevin's life was tragically cut short, his legacy lives on. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell. A funeral service will begin in the chapel at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Muscular Dystrophy Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are appreciated.
