Kim Sansone Obituary

Kim Angie Sansone (Loftis), born on January 25, 1959 and passed away on June 2, 2017 at the age of 58 due to complications from cancer. She was the beloved companion of Dan Miller. Daughter of the late Antonina DiVicenti Loftis and William Robert Loftis. Sister of William Randy Loftis (Therese Lee Loftis) and Laurie Loftis Dewald. Half-sister of Johnny Loftis and Vicki Loftis Pregeant. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends, along with her coworkers at Tanbark Rehab and Wellness Center in Lexington, KY. Kim was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, settling in Lexington, KY since Hurricane Katrina. Although Kim's illness made her appear frail, she possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. Before her illness, Kim truly enjoyed life through her simple pleasures of going to the movies and listening to her favorite music with family and friends. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her love, kindness, laughter and compassion. Services in Kim's memory are private.
