Kyriaki "Koula" Spetsiotis

1954 - 2018

Koula Spetsiotis, 63, passed in her sleep amongst family and friends in her home in New Orleans, LA. Koula was born Kyriaki Foradis in Chios, Greece on April 23, 1954. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio before moving to New Orleans in 1975. She was a social and giving soul. She enjoyed cooking and was best known for her Pastitsio, Tiropita, Dolmathes, and infamous Greek desserts. She was happiest spending time with her family and loving her dear grandsons as well as maintaining her Greek traditions and Greek Orthodox faith. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pagona, and husband, Dimitrios. She is survived by her son's, Pantelis "Ponce" (wife - Jesika) and Michalis "Mike" (wife - Kim). She also leaves behind her grandsons, Dimitrios and Samuel, and her sister, Eugenia Peto, who was with her upon her death. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. 1200 Robert E. Lee Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70122. Tuesday, April 10 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wake/Repass at 1:15 p.m. Interment in St. Louis Cemetery No.3.
