Larry W. Carroll Sr.

Larry W. Carroll Sr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at the age of 71. He is preceded in death by his children, Larry Winson Carroll Jr. and Kenneth James Carroll; his parents, Walter Winson Carroll and Syble Marie Gressett Rochford; his brother Jerry lee Carroll; his sister, Susan Faye Case; his aunt, Lula Mae Williams; and his cousin, Janie Mae Williams. He is the beloved husband of 50 years of Linda Huxen Carroll. He is the beloved father of Tessie Martin (Joey Jr.), Nicholas Carroll (Ashley Martin), and Matthew Carroll. He is the devoted grandfather of Gracie Carroll, Kinley Carroll, Jaxsen Carroll, and Joey Martin III. He is the loving brother of Linda Ervin and Syble Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. An avid car enthusiast, Larry enjoyed restoring cars, traveling, playing music, and watching old classic movies. Above all, he was a devoted and loving family man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, August 27, 2018, beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA.
