Oh my I am saddened to see this . They say over the years how people loose touch with one another. Larry used to be one of my brother Eldred close friends . Man we were just joking the other day about the last minute party we had at our parents house and Larry was doing the humpty dance and knocked some of the glasses off the bar . So now everytime we hear that song we Holla out doing the Larry dance. Those were the good old days . R. I. P. Larry ..... Gone too soon but never forgotten.

Hey Kip..
It took me a while to be able to even formulate any type of words to put on here. Knowing that your physically gone, but your spirit lives on within our family, makes it a little easier.
I can't even go to McDonald's and order my weekly snack wraps without smiling or just purely busting out laughing. One day, I'll get the fried ranch snack wraps, but for now, I am sticking with the grilled...gotta watch my figure, lol.
I also laugh when I think about some of my baby pictures that you were in. You were just looking at me running around with those big glasses you used to wear. HILARIOUS
I used to repeatedly re-read over our text messages..it's advice I'll never forget, nor will I ever delete it from my phone. EVER. In fact, I need to print them out cause you used metaphors my parents don't even use..never knew you were really wise beyond your years!

My first love...
It was a complete shock to hear the news of your passing. It seems like yesterday we were joking around... fire and ice. That's what we were. I am heartbroken that we can no longer laugh over the memories. But, they live on. Your voice, your walk, those you touched makes me know that your life was not in vain. I'm only sorry that I didn't tell you the last time we spoke how much you meant to me and how much joy you brought to my life. Even though it's been years and we grew apart, we somehow found each other again, to make new jokes and new memories.

Kip's passing has left me with a feeling that I can not explain; however, I can articulate the love and respect I had for Kip. Four days before his passing Kip and I spoke for the last time and he explained to me how honored he was to be chosen as my sponsor and how he watched me grow from a child to a young man. That night I found much more respect for him because he told me he was sick and could not go to work but he would not miss that night for anything. Kip has also expressed his feeelings within a letter he gave to me which I now read differently and find a whole new messege within it. I am truly blessed to have him as godfather because he was dedicated, respectful, and loving to me and my whole family. So with this being said Kip I will alsways miss you and i thank my aunt and my uncle for raising him to be the man he was and for letting me be apart of his life and for him apart of mine.

It hurts me when I think that I am never going to see Kip again. He was there for everything and he was always happy. I feel our relationship is stronger now. I feel I can tell you things that I could not before. We talk everyday now, it is as if I have you on my side where ever I go. Your spirit is truly present and among the ones that love you. I expressed to you a little over a week ago that I have not lost, but have gained you. Before the lost of your physical presence we talked some times on the phone and our encounters in person, but now I don't have to dial seven digits or meet up with you some where, we can talk at anytime. At first I was saddened by the lost of your physical presence, but now I see that you are more present then ever. I am truly blessed to have you as a cousin, Godfather, and friend. A month has gone by and even as I write to you now, I am still unwilling to speak of Bucko in the past tense. Sadly, it is true that you never know how much you love someone until you don't have them anymore. I believe it is human nature for us to hurt because in some way we think we could have done something to prevent this loss, or, we realize our powerlessness over who goes and who stays. So, in order to deal with this we must approach it spiritually. God can do all things except fail. Although I don't like it, (and that's putting it mildly)I am beginning to accept it.
Although I didn't see Bucko everyday, he made an indelible mark on my life and the lives of Michelle and the kids. Our times were always fun-filled and loving. His wisdom at his young age will be his legacy. His ability to think before he spoke is a lesson that I have yet to master. Our times at barbeques and watching sports will be sorely missed.
Buck often told me that he loved the way Michelle and I loved and enjoyed each other and our children. The only way for me to honor my lil nephew is to keep living that life and be here for Larry, Monica, and Nickey. Bucko, consider it done! There will always be a seat at the table, a plate on the counter, and a drink at the bar with your name on it as usual.
There is a lot more for me to say, but I'll save it for my spiritual thoughts and my prayers. Just Know that you will NEVER be forgotten and FOREVER missed.

As I sit here trying to gather words to describe how blessed we all are to know and love KIP, I am distracted by my tears that cannot stop falling. My tears hold years of joy and laughter from jokes and heartfelt conversations we shared. The tears hold memories of KIP growing from a serious young child to a responsible adult to a kind and loving cousin to a patient and wise Godfather (of two) to an outstanding Liturgical Minister to a spiritual and everlasting Confirmation Sponsor, while remaining a truly devoted son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. My tears have turned to tears of joy because I have remembered that KIP believed and because he believed then he shall live ….Eternally!!!! I love you KIP and I know that Heaven is a much happier place with you in it!! See you later.

I am so sorry for your loss. Words can't describe how sad I feel about Kip's passing. I always remember him teasing me about being his "little" cousin because he was so much taller than me even though I was technically a few months older than him. That is how I will always remember him --smart, kind, funny, and always smiling. He will truly be missed by the entire family. I take comfort knowing he is with God and all the angels in heaven. Larry, the Lord called one of His sweetest angels home to be with Him! I will never forget that sweet, humble, friendly and bright demeanor since day one of when "our" little worlds were just beginning at St. Frances Cabrini...I still can see us on the altar reciting and singing down for Kindergarten graduation! You will never be forgotten, and I will cherish the memories of a great young man. Mr. and Mrs. Reeves, and Nicole, you have my deepest sympathy and condolences, and your family will remain in my prayers. Stay strong, lean on Him and God Bless.
