LaTrina Trinese Green

LaTrina Trinese Green was born to the late James Edward Green and Thoris Lynn Green. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, where she accepted Jesus Christ at a young age. She attended Lafayette Elementary, and Alcee Fortier High School. She later moved to Duluth, GA and entered early childhood development. That's where she found her passion and enjoyed working with the youth. She enjoyed it so much that she went back to school recently to earn her degree in early childhood development. Latrina also had a genuine soul and enjoyed helping others, no matter their situation. She would give you a roof over your head, and home cooked food to eat. She loved her children, her grandchildren, siblings, and family. She's preceded in death by her parents, James Edward Green and Thoris Lynn Green and her brother Allen Ashaine Green. LaTrina, leaves behind to mourn her death, her three children, Shandreka Green (New Orleans, LA), Preston Green and Jana Green (Lawrenceville, GA); her fiancé, Yusuf Knatt; eight grandchildren, her two sisters: Keyoka Green (Fairburn, GA), and Brianna Green (Atlanta, GA), her four brothers: Jockquin Jones-Ross (Houston, TX), Antonio Jones (Chantel)(Kennesaw, GA), Keith Monroe (Sandy)(Arkansas, KS), Kelvin Monroe (New Orleans, LA) a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 2PM on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Majestic Mortuary Service, 1833 Oretha Castle Haley BLVD. 70113. There will be no viewing of remains. The family will receive guests for Visitation beginning at 1PM. Majestic Mortuary Services are in charge of arrangements.
