Beloved mother of Blanche Lemon of Los Angeles, CA and the late Alex Allen, Sr. Sister of Lillie Lewis of Atlanta, GA, Annie Edwards of Sacramento, CA, Alena Miles of Hoston, TX, Thelma Bell of Lubbock, TX, Laura Tolliver of Oakland, CA, Rosetta Foster of Algiers, LA, Rose Mary Holmes of Seattle, WA, Herman Major of Lubbock TX, Shelly Major, Jr. of New Orleans, LA and Jessie Tolliver of Oakland, CA. Mother-in-law of Sandy Allen of Las Vegas, NV. Niece of Agnes Hicks and Octavia Payne both of Winnsboro, LA. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-granchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. She was a Worthy Matron of Queen of the South #54 with King George Grand Lodge and Queen Vashti Grand Chapter. Relatives and friends of the family; also pastors, officers and members of Greater Mt. Rose B.C. are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Greater Mt. Rose Baptist Church, 1318 Simon Bolivar Ave. Rev. Bernard Murray, officiating.
