Leroy Gray, a retired longshoreman, departed this life on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at the age of 78; Beloved husband of Foxie Gray; Son of the late Clarence and Elizand Gray; Devoted father of Terri Gray and Lea Gray-Winfrey (Keith); Brother of Julia Gray-Dale, Velma, Rosie and Edward Gray, Sr. (Mary Jean); Grandfather of Hunter Chase and Rhian Fox Winfrey; Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Longshoreman Local 3000 are invited to attend the Funeral Service at First Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 2919 Sixth St. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:00 am; Visitation will begin at 9:00 am; Interment: Lakelawn Cemetery; Arrangements by DW Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave.; Please visit www.rhodesfuneral.com to sign the guest book.
