Leroy Jones Turner

Leroy Jones Turner entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 7, 2015, at Tulane Medical Center. He was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Gretna, LA. Leroy was a graduate of Lincoln High School and a former employee of Jefferson Parish Juvenile Detention Center. Loving father of Leona Turner Boudreaux, Danielle Lee and Akeem Khalif. Son of the late Viola Johnson Turner and Martin Louis Jones, Sr. Brother of Irby Turner, Jerry Turner and Martin L. Jones; also survived by 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Love Touch Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA, on Friday, December 18, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment: McDonoghville Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
