Chuck, Dell, DeeDee and Wilma:
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Uncle Boy was a special man. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and I will always remember his smiling face, his kindness, and his love.
This world was a better place because of "Uncle Boy". He will be missed.

Wilma, chuck, Dell & dede. I am gonna be with u today, but still wanted u to know how much I am gonna miss him, how much I loved him, and how much he meant to me & so many others. When he & I were talking on that last day, he was relating things about Pat Raifford, Lionel Perrett, Roy Trepagnier & George Raifford Jr. This was typical Lez, he cared so for others, and was always there when others needed him. Heaven knows this was he to me, he was always there when I needed him. I am gonna miss him very much, and only wish I will be able in some small way to try to emulate all that he stood for & did.
Luv to all

Ms. Wilma, We are so sorry to hear about Mr. L.C.'s death. We will all miss him at our tailgate. He was always such a gentleman and always so much fun to talk to about LSU football ! He knew the subject very well and I always looked forward to our LSU discussions. We admired him for his energy and endurance to be able to attend all of those football games no matter what the weather was like! Please know that the Battle family and your friends at the tailgate across the sidewalk will truly miss him and that ever present "twinkle" in his eye. May the perpetual light shine upon him!! God Bless You !!
