Mary,he will be missed alot, all the times we worked on the '57,getting it ready to race(always won) after your famous coffee. What ever was in that coffee,Whoooweee. He was a great mechanic,he could listen to a motor and tell you what was wrong with it.I got all my racing knowledge from him.My brother Mike too.All those days on Dwyer Road will remain in my thoughts and on occasion will bring a smile to my face, for even I fell victim to that super fast "57,with that 427,three duece setup, push pull,5.13 in the rearend.Fat Daddy,I will miss you, cuz!!God has called you home and taken away your pain.Mervin J. Bachemin,Jr. and Mom(Dallas,Tx.), and Mike and JB,down in the Big Easy, will miss you also.Take care Mary,Sylvia, and Lionel,III.

I am so very sorry for your lost. It seems the Bachemin family has lost several members after hurricane Katrina, but most of us do not know each other though most of us were born and reared in New Orleans. May God Bless you and free you of your sadness as quickly has He can. May your good memories give you warm feelings and smiles in your heart and a gladness in your shinning eyes. My prayers are with you.
