Hawthorne Lisa M. Hawthorne was born on February 22, 1965 and on Friday, February 11, 2016 she finished the course and fought the good fight. She attended Joseph S. Clark High School and Americo Tech School were she received a degree in Medical Assistant. She also worked for several nursing homes and a was a security guard at Entergy. Daughter of Mrs. Geneva H. Cain and Mr. Sessel Cain. Sister of Lance Hawthorne, Tonya Martin, Rashad Hawthorne, Michelle Young, Tracy Williams, Cynthia Buchanan and the late Taj Hawthorne. Godchildren, Larry Rudolph, Andria Brown, D'esire Young and Haley Jones. Best Friends. Paulette Guy, Andrea Fields, Bookie and many more friends. Also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by Grandparents. Relatives and friends of the family, also Priest and Parishioners of Corpus Christi C.C. are invited to attend the Visitation on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Avenue from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
