HALLEY Lizzie Lou Charles Halley, a hard working woman who loved and supported her family in every way possible, departed this life on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the age of 85; Beloved daughter of the late Beatrice Thompson Cooley and Henry Charles; Devoted mother of Edward Halley, Jr., Mary Halley Griffin, Fred Halley, Doris Halley Simmons and Kinch Jones Halley and the late Beatrice Marie Halley Smith and Dan Halley; Sister of Jeanette Williams and Betty Jean Hill and the late Austin, Calvin, Issac, Corena and Ethel Mae Thompson; Godmother of Kim Denise and Derrick Williams; Also survived by 24 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
