HALLEY Lizzie Lou Charles Halley, a hard working woman who loved and supported her family in every way possible, departed this life on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the age of 85; Beloved daughter of the late Beatrice Thompson Cooley and Henry Charles; Devoted mother of Edward Halley, Jr., Mary Halley Griffin, Fred Halley, Doris Halley Simmons and Kinch Jones Halley and the late Beatrice Marie Halley Smith and Dan Halley; Sister of Jeanette Williams and Betty Jean Hill and the late Austin, Calvin, Issac, Corena and Ethel Mae Thompson; Godmother of Kim Denise and Derrick Williams; Also survived by 24 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Free Missionary Baptist Church, 1821 Egania St. on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 10:00 am; Visitation will begin at 8:00 am; Interment: Mt.
