Dear Aunt Margie,
What a wonderful blessing to have such a fun and happy person in our lives all these years...and we truly miss him. Even at this very sad time it's hard not to smile just thinking about Uncle Lloyd and his antics, jokes and wonderful, big hugs. So much love surrounded you both for all these years, and we hope that that love, and the support of your family and friends helps you during this very tough time. You are both always in our hearts and prayers. We send our love.

Dear Aunt Margie, Tom, Melanie, Jerry, Jack, Paul and Paula,
My heart goes out to your wonderful family. I always loved going to your house when I was young - it had kids, love, and laughter. When Uncle Lloyd's name is mentioned, I immediately hear his deep laugh - that will always remain with me. Now Tim and all the rest who have gone before can enjoy that laugh. Uncle Lloyd was truly one of a kind - a really great man, husband, father and friend. Love to you all,
Pat and Bracey

Dear Margie:
Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of Llyod. We are sorry we were not able to be with you on Saturday, but know that we share in your grief.
I met Llyod after he got out of the Navy. At that time there was a band of brothers called the Shamrocks, it was a group of teenagers growing up in the 1940's. It was a great time to grow up in Edgewood (Gentilly). It was a time when you could have more than one best friend. I remember the years of playing sandlot baseball and football and we were really good. Loyd was our manager, coach, mentor and friend. He often told me that being with us allowed him to live the part of his life he missed because he was in the Navy. I remember he taught us to win graciously and to lose was a fact of life we needed to accept. He was a gentle man who led by example. He took a group of fuzzy faced kids and shaped them into a group of kind respectful young men.
We will miss Llyod and will always remember him. However, we know that he has gone to a better place to be with our Lord.
You and your family are in our prayers.
Farewell to a best friend.

Dear Mrs Margie Buisson, Jerry, Margo and family,
Please accept my belated condolences. I just read my e-mail from Margo, so I didn't know of the sad news of Mr Lloyd's death. He will be greatly missed by many.
I wish to extend my sympathy to all the Buisson family. He was a good husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. I only wish I had read my e-mail sooner, as I would have made arrangements to attend the funeral.
All of you will be in my prayers.
Peace and Love,
Teresa and Charles Legler

Dear Aunt Margie and family,
You are all in my prayers at this time. I have so many fond memories of Uncle Lloyd, calling me "dah-lin" in that wonderful N.O. accent of his, rich cream with a just a hint of Bourbon.
He was a light in my life, as I know he was in all of yours. He will be missed and at the same time, it is great to know we have such a valliant champion for us all in Heaven. He must make God laugh every day!
There was a wonderful poem about passage that someone sent me when Blanton passed. It has been passed around our family for years, so I offer it here:
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the
morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that
shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.
Much love to all,
Cheryl

Miss Margie, Mel, Tom, Jerry, Jack, Paul and Paula:
Lyall called me tonight and told me that Mister Loyd had passed. I have many, many fond memories of the Buisson family who treated me as one of their own. My Father passed when I was a freshman with Mel at Cabrini. For the next 3 years after that, Mister Lloyd, brought me, along with Mel to the Father Daughter Dinner. That wonderful kindness meant a lot to this teenaged girl who had lost her Father. But that is the epitome of Mister Lloyd….a kind and generous man, a wonderful, loving Father, a man with a terrific sense of humor , and generosity of heart that was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He and his family have been greatly blessed with his life, and they have also blessed everyone who has known them. I’m so sorry that I didn’t know, for I would have been there to honor this remarkable man. May his journey be sweet and swift.

Dear Aunt Margie and family,
What wonderful memories we have of traveling from Tappahannock in our camper and visiting with you all on those Christmases so long ago! I especially enjoyed the times I spent with Uncle Lloyd; particularly the time he invited me to join him during one of his coaching sessions for the NORD Saints. I'll never forget the excitement and enthusiasm he generated amongst those boys.
He truely was a giant among men and Living Waters flowed from Christ through him like a river! God bless you all.

I feel that we were priveleged to have Mr. Buisson as our Coach. He shaped us into winners on the field and taught valuable lessons for life off the field as well. It is because of men like Coach Buisson that we have such fond memories of our youth.

Dear Miss Margie, Jerry & Margo, & family,
As I told Timothy, his Grandfather was a genuine character. Mr. Lloyd was a strong, loving, fun-loving, devoted family man with a booming laugh that matched his outsized personality. He was the "real deal". We cherish Mr. Lloyd's memory and are grateful to have known him.
Much love,
Paz & Tim

Miss Margie, Mel,
Tom, Jerry,Jack, Paul and Paula,
Please accept my deepest sympathy at the passing of Mr. Lloyd.
Miss Margie, I know he was truly the love of your life, and I also know you were the center of his world.
Your love and devotion for each other were models to all who know you. I am a better man for having known you both. I appreciate him all the more across these years since the time I felt part of your family. I am now what he was, a husband and father. I hope to be one he would be proud of.
I think of your family often and you are all often in my prayers. Thank you for letting me know.
God Bless each of you.

Dear Aunt Margie, Melanie, Tom, Jerry, Jack, Paul and Paula,
Many of my favorite childhood memories are of times spent with your family. How many sleepovers did Melanie and I have??? I never hear "Murphy bed" without thinking of the Buissons! I remember Uncle Lloyd as good-natured, patient and very much fun - a welcoming smile. He was clearly so in love with his wife and children. Even as a child, this impressed me.
The longer I live, the more I appreciate how generous it is to give so much personal time to others. I'm so grateful that Uncle Lloyd gave his time to us kids.
Happy memories are flooding back now . . . pizza after football games, condensed milk over Rice Krispies for a late-night snack, the joy when Paul and Paula were born . . . and it was always a special treat to get a ride home on the back of his Harley (or in the side car).
A sign of a life well lived is when those left behind think of you and smile. I'm smiling.
Love to all,
Milton Miskel

Mr. Lloyd was a giant in our community when my brothers and I were growing up in St. Raphael Parish. We appreciated then, and still do, his dedication for all the young men he helped.
Sorry to read about his passing.
Our sincerest condolences to his family, most of whom we knew from our childhoon.
Your dad, grandfather and great-grandfather was a giant of a man for a lot of years and for a lot of youngsters.

Dear Buisson Family,
Please accept this message of hope from our family to yours. We are very sorry to hear of your loss. Continue to take comfort in the peace that God promises in times like these at Philipians 4:6-7. May the God who gives peace and comfort bless you and keep your family always. (Numbers 6:24,25)

Uncle Lloyd was the "fun uncle". When we would visit their house it was always filled with laughter and kids. My favorite memory is maybe my 6th Birthday. The family always came since he was my godfather. He said "Babe, wanna go for a ride on my motorcycle?" I was so excited! He didn't even ask my mom. We went out the backyard gate and he set me in front of him on that huge bike and took me through CIty Park. It was the best gift. But when we returned my mom was mad at him for taking me. I have other great memories with snakes and monkeys but so does everyone else whose life he touched. I ache for all of us left here but I know he is happy with Tim and Uncle Jimmy, his parents, and all other family and friends who greeted him.
