Lloyd John Call passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on September 29, 1947, in New Orleans to the late Gerard and Claire Call. Loving husband of Pat Kelly. Devoted father of Lauren Call (Rick), Dennis Jr. (Raquel), Darrin (Robynn), and Del Cook. Step-father of Shaun Kelly and Shannon Kelly Turner (Chris). Proud grandfather of Devin (Amber), Zachary, Joshua, Jordon, Tyler, Mia, and Finn. Great Grandfather to Annalise, Daelin, and Adreanna. Preceded in death by his siblings Rita Daray (Merlin), Mary Schmidt (Jack), and Jerry Call (Germaine). Beloved Uncle Lloyd to many relatives and non-relatives alike. He was a retired Sergeant of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff Office, where he proudly served for over 40 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001 on August 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM with a service at 11:00. Inurnment will be immediately thereafter.
