I've known Lydia for over 35years. She was a very good teacher. She was my first friend at Alice Harte Elementary School in Algiers; where we taught across the hall from each other. She was always willing to help, give advice, and do whatever else was asked of her, if possible. She enjoyed life; and always had a smile for others.. Her laugher would ring out with genuine joy and her eyes sparkled when something amused her. Lydia was a good Christian lady, whom I suspect is singing with the Angels now. Rest in Peace, Lydia!

Dear Ursula, Joseph, Edward, and Jackie,

I have so many wonderful memories of Lydia. It's impossible to compress them all into a small space. She was a cherished friend and confidant. I can believe we've known each other for close to 40 years. The one thing I know for sure is...she loved each of you dearly. And the love she and Joseph shared was one for the books.

May her soul and the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of GOD rest in peace.

Sending love and prayers,
Michelle Early Torregano, Ph.D.
