MacArthur Spellman entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Beloved son of Janice Wimberly and Charlie Spellman; brother of Charlie Holmes, Cedric Spellman, Kennard Cage, Travell Cage, Janitra Spellman (Zory), Charquetta Spellman (Robert), Charmaine Spellman, Charliza Spellman and the late Jermaine Spellman; grandson of Delcine Wimberly, the late Arthur Mac, Victoria and Edward Spellman. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers and members of Sixth Baptist Church, employees of Wal-Mart, Saba and Emeralds Restaurants; and the 2017 Class of L.B. Landry-O. Perry Walker High School are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, May 14, 2022 beginning 10:00 a.m. at St. James Methodist Church, 1925 Ursulines Avenue, Rev. Dr. Torin T. Sanders, officiating. Church visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Masks are required. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
