A long time ago I spent one afternoon playing trival pursuit with your mother. I remember her voice, laugh and quick sense of humor like it was yesterday. What a gift, to be remembered so clearly years later, after spending just a few hours with someone. Your mother will remain in the hearts of many.

Courtney, Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I remember you talking about going to her house on St. Charles Ave. for the Mardi Gras parades. Sorry, I couldn't be there, but you are in my thoughts and prayers. Talk to you soon.

Dear Susan, Buddy and Family,

Your Mom was quiet a lady... and I was very blessed to have had her in my life. She 'adopted' me, and held me when I cried... and oh, did she make me laugh! With Marie, there was always that 'silver lining' just around the corner. I'll always remember her humor, her laugh, her love, and her generous spirit. Thinking about it, everyone that knew her was blessed! and the world is definitely a better place because of your mom. Thank you for sharing her with me and Jim, our family, and all of your friends.

Our love and prayers are with you,

Cindy and Jim

Mrs. Thensted and I both researched the Baquie family. She and I corresponded back in the early 1990's. I am sorry to see that she has died - my sincere condolences to her family.
