Marilyn Wiltz Obituary

Marilyn Overstreet Wiltz., age 76, transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, January 24, 2022. She was a native of Lakeland, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Marilyn was a retired ward clerk/nurse assistant with Touro Infirmary. Devoted wife of the late Howard Wiltz. Beloved mother of Brenda M. Wiltz (Kendel, Sr.) Irvin. Grandmother of Kendel Irvin, Jr. Daughter of the late Marshall and Celestine Johnson Overstreet. Granddaughter of the late Steve and Lizzie Whitfield Johnson. Marilyn is also survived by a host of other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mount Calvary International Worship Center and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Mount Calvary International Worship Center, 1600 Westwood Drive, Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church. Interment: Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie, LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA. To view and sign the guestbook, please go to www.davismortuaryservice.com. Due to Covid-19 pandemic attendance will be limited. It is mandatory everyone attending wear a face mask or some type of face covering.
