Marion's warmth and intelligence radiated to us who knew her and your family at Our Lady of Lourdes. I returned to New Orleans this summer following my Katrina diaspora, otherwise I would not have known of her passing. Marion died on my birthday so I will have a handy way of remembering her annually. May our loving God gift you all with grateful memories and deep hope.

Ms. Marian used to work with me at the School Board during the summers (1970-1974). We used to have so much fun!! We would laugh and giggle. I really loved her a lot. Brandon and Michael, I am very sorry to hear about you grandmother. Miss Marion was a very special person. She was the heart and soul of Borgnemouth Elementary. She was a great mentor when I was starting out as a teacher so many years ago. When she would talk about you guys, her eyes would sparkle and her heart swelled with pride. My prayers go out to all of you. Marion was the best friend, confidante and secretary I could ever have. She was one of the sharpest women I knew! I loved her dearly. It breaks my heart but I am glad she is in a better place with her family that went before her.
