It is with sincere sadness and grief that my family learned of Marlenes passing. Marlene was a great nurse to my son. She was and will always be one of the best things that happened to us. She came into our lives at a very critical and emotional time, and for that we will forever have gratitude. We appreciated her for teaching my family to Let go and Let God. Because of her, my husband and I traveled many times in and out of the country. Just because we had a nurse to help us understand...that with a disabled child you too can have a great life. As nervous as we were...we started traveling to the Caribbean yearly. Marlene was with me for 4 yrs. Along with Darlene and when she left us due to change in residency....We continued to travel and saw the world with a voice from Marlene letting us know you will be fine. Although my son CJ does not speak...I had to tell him that the lady that cared for you, just as much as mommy is no longer with us, but I know she is resting peacefully. Because of her love for God, her Children, and Life...The Carters know
She will rest in peace.
