With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Mary Louise Bibbins Dixon, on February 20, 2022, in New Orleans, LA. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Issac Dixon, children: Michael J. Petty of Slidell, LA, Anthony J. Petty (Barbara) of Houston, TX, Sharon Dixon Gentry of Nashville, TN and David M. Dixon; sisters: Dora Gardner, Sarah Bibbins, Bettie Harrell; brother-in-law Landris Dixon, grandchildren: Lamar Petty, Jared Petty, Mia Petty, Demetri Petty, Myia Petty, Taylor Gentry and Ryan Gentry; and a host of family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Friday, February 25, 2022, for 10:00 a.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Moses Gordon III, officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003.
