Mary "Shirley" Santee Jones, a caregiver for A-1 Home Health, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Mother of Anthony Brown, Sr., Ronald Brady, Jr. and her nieces, and nephews whom she reared Gary (Rhonda) Holmes, Jimmie (Juliette) Holmes, Debra (Michael) Ayers, Alisha (Bernard) Santee-Alexander Grandmother of the late Anthony Brown, Jr. Daughter of the late Issac (Mildred) Santee, Jr. and Gustavia (Harry) Powell. Sister of Allen Santee, Sylvester (Joycelyn) Santee, Ronald Santee, Beverly (Johnny Ray) Anderson and the late Isaac Santee, Jr., Clara Santee Holmes, and Diane Evans. Devoted longtime friend of Agatha Alcindor and Drean Denson, also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 64 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church 1000 Walkertown Way, Marrero, La. Friday, January 9, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J. Brown, Jr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m until 9:50 a.m. only at the above named church.
