Mary Schlabach Obituary

91 of Dover, and formerly of Sugarcreek,
died Thursday, November 2,
2017, at Oak Pointe Nursing Home in
Baltic. She was born April 2, 1926 in
Holmes County to the late John E. and
Mattie (Miller) Kline. She was a member
of the First Moravian Church in
Dover. She was married to Noah Schlabach
who has preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children:
Mardella Rice of Baltic, Dean (JoAnn)
Miller of Dover and Dale Eugene
(Deb) Miller of Sugarcreek; five grandchildren, six great -grandchildren;
and four sisters: Edna (John) Troyer of Berlin, Clara (Lester)
Kaufman of Fryburg, Lizzie (Adin) Raber of Berlin and Amanda
(Adam) Troyer of Walnut Creek. In addition to her husband Noah, she
is preceded in death by her former husband, George Miller; son-in-law,
John Rice; grandson, Matt Rice; brother, Roman J. Kline; and sister,
Sarah Miller. The Family would like to extend their appreciation to the
staff at Oak Pointe for the care and love they showed to their mother
during her stay.
Private Family Services will be held on Tuesday, November 7,
2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with
Rev. John Wallace officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery
in Baltic. For those unable to attend please visit the funeral home website.
