Mary Thomas, age 91, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 30, 2018. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, October 13, 2018, 10:00AM at Good Hope Baptist Church, 2028 Weyer St., Gretna, LA. Visitation 9:00AM until service. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy J. Thomas; parents, Alvin Joseph and Olevia Watkins; 2 brothers, Eddie and Alvin Irvin Jr.; 1 great-grandchild and 1 foster child. She leaves to cherish her memories 3 children, Jackie (Darren), Lisa and Charles; 12 foster children; 2 siblings, Thomas Irvin and Juan Harvey (Bernadine); 1 sister-in-law, 35 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 1 Godchild and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
