Mathew D. Zibilich

ZIBILICH Mathew D. Zibilich passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at East Jefferson General Hospital Emergency Room. He was the devoted husband of Stanka Mijoc Zibilich for the past 27 years and was the beloved father of Kuzma, Anna and Mary Zibilich, the son of the late Kuzma and Ane Slavich Zibilich, the brother of Mary Ann Cibilic and her husband Pero, the uncle of Deanna, Darlene and Peter Cibilic and also the great-uncle of Kaleb Spindel. He is also survived by numerous extended family members. He was 81 years of age and a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Metairie, LA. He loved the bayou, his boat and being on the water, but most of all being with his family. Funeral Services will be held from Schoen Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans on Monday, August 25, 2008. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and will last until the Funeral Mass begins at 1:00 PM in the Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Louis # 3 Cemetery.
