4.5.25, somewhere in the wilds of Boston. I´m watching a movie set in New Orleans and the surrounding area. All of a sudden Max came into my head. I googled him and was so sad to read his obituary, just about two years ago. I was in the oriental carpet business in Boston in the late 80s and had many conversations with Max. He was delightful to speak with, very polite, very gregarious (as was I). He always said, if you ever get to New Orleans, stop in to see me, I´m just around the corner, in Metairie. I never did make it to New Orleans, or around that corner. To Max´s Family, he left you too soon but he will always be with you. Until now, I had no idea looked like. He looks exactly like I pictured him, except I thought his hair was grey! What a smile! RIP Max.

I have fond memories of my visits with Max at his showroom on Oak St. He always had a smile on his face and something funny to share.
He was a joy to work with, and was always so kind and helpful in our business dealings. My condolences to the Mipro family and Max's close friends and colleagues; I know he will be missed.

I was sad to read of Maxie's passing. I remember well of his visits to our home, to visit my grandmother ( Anna Mipro Gai) than with my parents, Audrey and Eddie Gai. His stories and his humor was always warm and kind. My prayers and thoughts are with hus family and friends.
