So sorry to hear that Melanie has passed. She was such a sweet lady. I had the pleasure of meeting her in January 2017 at Ochsners when Venver was in the hospital. We prayed together and celebrated together. May she rest in peace and may peace find all who loved her. Lorry

My beautiful friend whom I will hold dearly in my heart. Words could never express the pain in my heart regarding your absence. We shared so many memories that it would be remiss if I even tried sharing. What I rest on is what I believe & it´s what God´s word says "absent from the body & present with the Lord". To the Westerfield family ~
It saddened me so much to learn of Mel´s passing. Such an angel who has left this place and entered into the glorious home of Heaven is not an end but a wonderful beginning. We just have to pray and accept the Word of God to be able to understand her soulful travel. It´s hard, never easy to let go because we love so dearly but God loves us too. I knew Mel from church and I loved her spirit. I will miss her beauty and her smile. That´s what I´ll remember. Take your spiritual rest, my sweet friend. See you later at the Cross. Lovingly ~
