Michael Joseph Piteo, 58 years old, entered into eternal rest on May 29, 2014. Beloved son of Margaret Pat LeLeaux and Paul C. LeLeaux Sr. and the late Michael V. Piteo. Devoted brother of Debra P. Guidroz (Kerry) and uncle of Nicole G. Alvarez (Alan) and Anthony M. Guidroz. Great-uncle of Mariana-lsabelle G. Alvarez, Porsha H., Gracie L. and Alaina M. Guidroz. Brother of Shirley (Bert), Brenda (Bobby), Yvonne (Sal), Paul Jr., Larry (Gayle), Marie, Lillian and Charlotte. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their forever gratitude to Dr. Cory Cashman and "extended family" at Wynhoven Health Care Center for the care and compassion they have given Mike in the last 7 years. Special thanks to the staff of Notre Dame Hospice for the care they gave in these last 2 weeks. Mike's granny will be waiting for him with her "chicken and dumplings." Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 7, 2014. from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Memorial Service will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
