Michelle Anne Gauthier

Michelle Anne Gauthier passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023 at the age of 54. Michelle lived in Manhattan and Sagaponack, NY. She grew up in New Orleans, where most of her family still lives. Michelle is survived by her two sons, JW and Rome Graham. Their father, John Graham, predeceased her. Michelle's father, Wendell Gauthier, also predeceased her, but she is survived by her mother, Anne, sisters Cherie and Celeste, brothers-in-laws Kevin Lirette and Joey Lepow, nephew Trenton (Jen), niece Maddie, and an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many, many friends. She was very much loved and will be terribly missed. Michelle was a trained chef, and a legendary entertainer. She was renowned for her hospitality. Michelle established and built Mulberry and Vine, a clean eating food restaurant that grew to six locations pre-Covid. She expanded the world of fast casual and helped create a support system of restaurateurs in New York. Among other awards, Mulberry & Vine was named as a Hot Concept emerging brand by Nation's Restaurant News in 2019. Michelle will be memorialized by friends and family Friday, September 8th at 6:30 at Tribeca 360, 10 Desbrosses St, New York. There will also be a service in New Orleans on Monday, September 11 at Holy Name Church, visitation at 10 with mass at 11, followed by a private burial.
