Home going services for Mildred Dejoie Poret will be held on Friday, September 27, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. at the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research at 2209 Lapalco Blvd., Harvey, LA. The doors will be opened at 6:30 p.m. for viewing. The dismissal will be Saturday, September 28, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. The repass will be at 3601 Texas Dr., New Orleans. She was the wife of the late Philip P. Poret, daughter of the late Curtis and Emily Peterson Godchaux and Harry Dejoie, Sister Wilhemna Ross and Edna Ducro. Sisters-in-law Marie Poret Terry and Beverly Poret-Williams. Brother-in-law and spouse Vincent and Louella Poret, the mother of Jeanne Poret Videau, Philip P. Poret, Jr., Darrel Poret Roland and Wallace Roland, Terry Poret Nocentelli and Leo Nocentelli, the grandmother of Darlene Walker, Darrell Walker Jones and Melvin Jones, Denise Walker Mason and Darryl Mason, Deanna Walker Johnson and Carey Johnson, Damascus Williams and Brenda Williams, DyAnnika Videau Martin and Miguel, Tonia Poret Davis and Kendric Davis, Darren Poret and Iris Smith Poret, Tonie Winchester and Darius, Toi Nocentelli and D'Lan Smith, the great-grandmother of Demar Videau, DyOn Jones and Semika Jackson Jones, Darryl Jones, Desne Jones, Delichia Gourgis, Alex Gourgis, D'Ron Walker, Derek Burditt, Daymond Burditt, Dymond Martin, Drake Martin, DeJon Martin, Damascus Williams, II, Lance Noah, Tyler and Taylor and Paul and Lorenz Winchester, Dori and David and Deja Smith, and great-great-grandmother of Darquese Jones, Dyon C. Jones, Damary Jones and her sons-in-law Derrick Smith and Arthur Videau and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
