Milfred Joseph "Mil" Stiaes, a graduate of St. Augustine High School Class of 1958, age 74, passed away on Tuesday November 17, 2015. "Mil" is survived by his devoted wife, Hyacienth Duhe' Stiaes; daughter, Shelley Ann Stiaes and sons Shawn (Wyanda) and Juan Jose' (Suszette); brother, Rene' Stiaes (Kathleen); Aunt Olga Hurst; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, godchildren, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Milfred John Stiaes and Eve Davillier Stiaes Blache; and grandson Lars Stiaes. Relatives, friends, and members of the Plantation Revelers, the Titans of Greater New Orleans, Knights of Columbus Council 10645, Rev. Fr. T Pugh Assembly 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Penny Pinchers, Les Bonnes Inverstors, Ladies for Purple Scholars, Association of St Augustine High School; and employees of US Fish and Wildlife Service, Reddman LawnCare, Whole Foods Market and JW Marriott Hotels are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 28088 Main St. Lacombe, LA on Monday, November 23, 2015 for 11:00 am. Interment at Southeast LA Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Rd. Slidell, LA. Visitation begins at 9:00 am in the church.
