Milton J. Whittington died on Monday, May 23, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Catherine Whittington. Son of the late Leonard J. and Ceanna Whittington. Father of Leonard J. and Anthony M. Whittington, Beverly Ann Jordan, Janet Sada and the late Von Keith Whittington. Brother of Arlington J. Whittington of Los Angeles, CA. Preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers-in-law, 2 sons-in-law, 3 daughters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other friends and relatives. Relatives and friends of the family; priests and parishioners of St. Raphael Catholic Church are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 5600 Elysian Fields Avenue at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Louis #3 Cemetery. i knew milton from working with him at ochsner hospital. he was a very nice man and he also worked with my late husband emanuel. my prayers are with the family.
