Minnie Williams Obituary

Minnie Mae Dawson Williams passed away at home on Monday, July 6, 2015 at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Lovey Dawson; her step-mother, Annie Dawson; her husband, James "Jimmy" Williams; a daughter, Michelle Williams; a son, Marshall Williams; a grandson, Anthony Barber; four brothers: Mark Dawson, Jr., George Dawson, Pink Dawson, III, Willie Dawson; and a beloved sister, Annie Lee Bacon. Ms. Minnie will be profoundly missed by her daughters: Sandra Pender, Shelia Lewis, Monica Smith; sons: Tyrone Williams, Sr., Ronald Williams, Sr.; brothers: Larry Dawson, Sr., Jerry Dawson; a sister: Jenetter Dawson; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a devoted friend, Dorothy Craft; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. All are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life service on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at 11:00am at New Israel Baptist Church 6322 Saint Claude Avenue NOLA with Reverend Douglas M. Haywood officiating. Visitation begins at 10 am. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery NOLA. Please view and sign guestbook at www.charbonnetfuneralhome.com
