Morris Henry Gordon

1947 - 2024

Mr. Morris Henry Gordon, age 77, a long time resident of New Orleans LA has made his permanent home with God. Morris passed away on June 23, 2024. He was the widower of Mrs. Gloria Jean Quinn Gordon, who he honored his marital Christian vows to for 54 years. Mr. Gordon was born in Fort Adam's, MS on May 22, 1947. He loved City Park and was a compassionate, benevolent, devoted child of God throughout his life. The United States Postal Service, located at 701 Loyola Avenue in New Orleans, LA, was his employment until retirement in 2017. He leaves to cherish precious memories, four children, ten grandchildren, as well as many other beloved relatives and friends to cherish his life. A Memorial service honoring his life and legacy will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Friday July 26, 2024 at 11:45 am. Interment immediately following at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, LA 70470. Visitation 11 am in the chapel.
