Nellie Knight Obituary
Nellie Louise Knight, 90, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on May 27, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Knight was born on September 25, 1925 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Samuel Ford Kibler and Anna Mae Baker Kibler. She was a homemaker.
On June 10, 1943, she was united in marriage to Charles E. Knight who passed away on July 7, 2011.
Surviving are her children, Betty Sampson and husband Richard, Bonnie Warner and husband Bootie, John Knight and wife Barbara, Charles Knight Jr and wife Wilda; two sisters, Anna Lee Branner, Shirley Jarrells; one brother Bill Kibler; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by a son, Nelson Eddie Knight who passed away in 1985, four sisters and two brothers.
A private graveside service will be held.
Those wishing to view and sign the guestbook may do so on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
